Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh stops her performance
Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh stops her performance mid-way due to stone pelting - details here
Tuesday night was rather unpredictable for Bhojpuri actress, Akshara Singh, who had to leave her dance performance mid-way. Akshara was performing at Dev Surya Mahotsav in Aurangabad, Bihar when the chaos erupted. The audience that had gathered to see her perform, began pelting stones at the stage. As a result, the city's police had to opt for lathi charge following which the Mahotsav was concluded before time.
According to a report in India Today, Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal, the district magistrate of Aurangabad, was also there to witness the actress's performance. But made a quick exit as soon as the chaos commenced. It is being believed that there were not adequate arrangements for the crowd which led them to resort to stone pelting.
The report further stated that the Sub-divisional Police Officer had appealed the crowd to remain seated and enjoy the event with peace before the event started. But the number of people who were there to watch the event were far greater than what the organisers had expected and made arrangments for. Also, there wasn't enough police deployed just in case the event had gone south.
Since the crowd were not convinced by the arrangement and were unable to watch the actress perform, they started pelting stones. Their protest resulted in broken chairs and a few bones. That's when the police stepped in to control the whole situation. Even though the crowd disrupted, luckily the actress was left unharmed.
Recently, Akshara was seen in a video song Chhod Ke jaat bada jaan. She has a massive fan following on Instagram and posts frequently to keep her fans updated with her life.
