MS Dhoni reveals post-retirement plan

With the ICC World Cup only around the corner, this is certainly not the right time to talk about MS Dhoni's retirement. But the former India captain himself just fuelled the debate by revealing what he might do after retiring from cricket.
Dhoni might just take up painting as a profession after announcing his retirement. In a video going viral on social media, Dhoni can be seen boasting about his painting credentials while displaying few of his artwork. "I wanted to share a secret with all of you. Right from childhood I always wanted to become an artist, I have played a lot of cricket so I decided it's time for me now to take up what I wanted so I have made a few paintings," Dhoni said in the video.

The former India captain then went on to show three paintings. The first one was a landscape drawing; the second one was of what he described as 'something which can become a mode of transport in future'. He described the last one as his favourite. It was what Dhoni described as a replica of him batting in CSK jersey.

Dhoni, however, has no chance of hanging his boots anytime soon. He led CSK to the finals of IPL 2019 and had also confirmed that he will play in the next IPL. Moreover, Dhoni has been selected as India's first-choice wicket-keeper for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019, slated to begin from May 30 in England.
