2 dead, 34 injured as foot overbridge collapses near Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai
Two persons died and 34 others were injured when a portion of a foot overbridge collapsed on Thursday evening near Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai.
According to the BMC’s disaster manangement team, 16 people were injured in the incident. Ten have been admitted to GT hospital and six in St George Hospital.
Dr Madhukar Gaikwad, medical superintendent of St George Hospital, said one of those admitted to the hospital had succumbed to injuries

Joint commissioner of traffic Amitesh Kumar told NDTV that the traffic has been diverted from CST to keep the road clear for ambulance and rescue workers.
